Last updated: 29 October 2026

1. About These Terms

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") apply to your use of abhiruchicaterers.com and to every catering enquiry, quotation and booking with Abhiruchi Caterers. "We", "us" and "our" mean Abhiruchi Caterers, a partnership firm (GSTIN 36ABZFA8015D1Z9) with its principal place of business at 27-46/1/2, Plot No. 2, Ground Floor, Vinayak Nagar, Neredmet, Secunderabad, Medchal-Malkajgiri District, Telangana – 500056. "You" means the person using our website or booking our services.

By using our website, you agree to Sections 2 and 3. By confirming a booking, whether by accepting our quotation in writing or paying the advance, you agree to all of these Terms.

Your quotation and written order confirmation set out the details of your booking. If they say something different from these Terms, the quotation or order confirmation applies to that booking.

Please also read our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle your personal data.

2. Use of Our Website

Our website gives general information about our catering services. Menus, prices and photos on the website are illustrations. Actual dishes, presentation, ingredients and prices depend on the season, availability, guest count and your agreed menu, and your quotation is final. Any prices shown on the website are indicative and exclude GST unless stated otherwise.

When using our website, you must not:

  • submit false or misleading enquiries, or impersonate another person;
  • upload viruses or harmful code, or try to gain unauthorised access to the website or its systems;
  • copy, scrape or collect content or data from the website by automated means; or
  • use the website for any unlawful purpose.

Such misuse may be an offence under the Information Technology Act, 2000.

We try to keep the website accurate and available, but we do not guarantee that it is error-free or always online. We may update, suspend or withdraw any part of it at any time. We correct errors once we notice them, and we are not bound by an obvious error in a price or description.

3. Intellectual Property

The name "Abhiruchi Caterers", our logo, and the text, menus, photos, videos and design of our website belong to us or to those who have licensed them to us. They are protected under the Copyright Act, 1957 and the Trade Marks Act, 1999.

You may view our website and share links to it for personal, non-commercial use. You may not copy, reproduce, modify or use our content commercially without our written permission. Photos and videos you take yourself at your event belong to you.

4. Enquiries, Quotations and Bookings

An enquiry through our website, by phone or on WhatsApp is not a booking and does not reserve your date.

Quotations. We prepare a quotation from the details you give us, such as the guest count, menu, venue, date and service style. A quotation is valid for 15 days unless it states otherwise. After that, prices may change, as ingredient and market prices vary.

Confirming a booking. Your booking is confirmed, and your date reserved, only when both of these are done:

  1. you accept our quotation or order in writing, including by WhatsApp; and
  2. we receive the advance payment (Section 5).

Until then, we may accept another booking for the same date. Once your booking is confirmed, we will send you an order confirmation setting out the menu, guest count, date, timings, venue, service style, price, advance and payment terms.

5. Prices, Taxes and Payment

Prices and GST. Prices are as stated in your quotation and order confirmation. GST is charged in addition, at the applicable rate, and shown on your invoice. Transport and any other charges, such as extra staff, equipment or extended service hours, are stated in each quotation.

Advance payment.

  • Weddings: an advance of ₹20,000 is payable at the time of booking to reserve your date.
  • Other events: the advance is agreed with you in the quotation, depending on the value of the order.

The advance is adjusted against your final bill.

Balance payment. The balance is payable on the terms agreed in your order confirmation. It is calculated on the final confirmed guest count (Section 6), plus any extra plates served and any additional charges agreed with you.

How to pay. We accept UPI, bank transfer and cash. Pay only to the bank account or UPI ID shown on your official quotation or invoice, and confirm any change in payment details by calling us on +91 90001 60619. We issue a receipt for every cash payment. Cash payments are subject to the limits under income-tax law.

If the advance, or any amount due before the event, is not paid on time, we may treat the booking as not confirmed and release the date.

6. Final Guest Count and Menu Changes

Final guest count. Please confirm your final guest count at least one day before the event. Your bill is based on this confirmed count. If you do not confirm it, we use the count in your order confirmation.

The confirmed count cannot be reduced later. If more guests attend, we will try to serve them as far as food and staff allow, and charge the agreed per-plate rate for each extra plate served. We are not responsible if food runs short because more guests attend than the confirmed count.

Menu changes. Please request menu changes as early as possible. We accept a change only if we can still arrange the ingredients and staff for it, and a change may alter the price.

Substitutions. If an ingredient becomes unavailable for seasonal or market reasons, we may replace it with one of similar quality and value, and we will tell you in advance where possible.

7. Cancellation, Postponement and Refunds

To cancel or postpone a booking, please inform us in writing, including by WhatsApp on +91 90001 60619.

Advance is non-refundable. Once we reserve your date, we turn away other bookings and start arranging ingredients, staff and equipment for your event. For this reason, the advance is not refunded if you cancel.

Payments above the advance. If you have paid more than the advance and then cancel, we refund the extra amount after deducting costs we have already incurred for your event, such as ingredients bought and staff or equipment booked. We will share the details of these costs with you.

Postponement. If you postpone, we will try to adjust your advance against a new date, subject to our availability. The price may be revised to our rates for the new date.

Cancellation by us. If we cancel your booking for a reason within our control, we refund everything you have paid, including the advance. Cancellations caused by events beyond our control are covered by Section 14.

How refunds are paid. Refunds are paid by bank transfer or UPI within 7 working days of the refund amount being settled.

8. Venue, Set-up and Service

Access. You must arrange for us to enter the venue at the set-up time agreed in your order confirmation.

Facilities. The venue must have suitable space for food counters and any live cooking, safe drinking water, electricity, lighting, and a safe, ventilated area for gas cylinders where we cook on site.

Permissions and venue charges. You are responsible for any permissions the venue or local authorities require, including for live cooking and the use of gas or fire. Any charges the venue levies on outside caterers are payable by you.

Service hours. We serve during the hours agreed in your order confirmation. Service beyond those hours depends on staff availability and is charged at the rate stated in the quotation or agreed with you at the time.

Delays. If service is delayed because of late venue access, late guests or programme changes, we are not responsible for any effect on food temperature or quality, and extended service charges may apply.

Transport. Transport charges to the venue are stated in each quotation.

9. Food Safety, Allergies and Leftover Food

Food safety. We prepare, transport and serve food hygienically, in line with the Food Safety and Standards Act, 2006 and the regulations made under it.

Allergies and dietary needs. Please tell us in writing, before the event, about any food allergies or special dietary needs. Our kitchen handles common allergens such as nuts, dairy, gluten and sesame. We take care to avoid cross-contact, but we cannot guarantee that any dish is completely free of allergen traces. Guests with severe allergies should take their own precautions. We are not responsible for reactions to allergies or dietary needs that were not told to us in advance.

Leftover food. On request, we pack leftover food for the host. Once it is handed over, the host is responsible for storing, handling and consuming it. Leftovers should be refrigerated within two hours and eaten promptly. We are not responsible for any illness or loss caused by leftover food after handover.

Food from others. We are not responsible for food or drinks supplied by other vendors or brought by guests.

10. Equipment, Staff and Damage

Our equipment. Crockery, cutlery, chafing dishes, counters, cooking equipment and other items we bring remain our property.

Loss or damage. You are responsible for loss of, or damage to, our equipment caused by your guests or the venue's staff, beyond normal wear and tear. We charge the repair or replacement cost, and we will show you the loss or damage before charging.

Our staff. Please ensure our staff are treated with respect. We may withdraw staff if they face harassment, abuse or unsafe conditions, and the agreed charges remain payable.

Scope of work. Our staff handle catering only. Other tasks, such as cleaning the whole venue or serving alcohol, are not included unless agreed in writing. Where alcohol is served at your event, you are responsible for any licence it requires.

11. Your Responsibilities as Host

As the host, you agree to:

  • give us accurate details of the event, including the date, timings, venue, guest count and any allergies or dietary needs;
  • arrange venue access, facilities and permissions (Section 8);
  • name one contact person, with a phone number, for the event day;
  • follow the venue's rules and applicable laws, including those on fire safety and noise;
  • make sure the people whose details you share with us know about it and agree (see our Privacy Policy); and
  • pay the agreed amounts on time.

12. Complaints and Feedback

If something is not right with the food or service during your event, please tell our supervisor on site straight away so that we can fix it.

For any other complaint, contact us by phone, WhatsApp or post (Section 18), preferably within 48 hours of the event, with details and any photos. Raising it early helps us check what happened. We will respond within 7 working days.

Nothing in these Terms limits your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.

13. Limitation of Liability and Indemnity

We provide our services with reasonable care and skill. We are not liable for:

  • delays or failures caused by you, your guests, the venue or other vendors;
  • loss of or damage to guests' personal belongings;
  • reactions to allergies or dietary needs not told to us in advance (Section 9);
  • leftover food after it is handed over (Section 9); or
  • loss that does not arise naturally from a breach of these Terms and that neither of us could reasonably have foreseen when the booking was made.

Our total liability for any booking is limited to the amount you paid us for that booking. This limit does not apply to loss caused by our gross negligence or wilful misconduct, or to any liability that cannot be limited by law, such as death or personal injury caused by our negligence.

You agree to compensate us for loss we suffer because of false information you gave us, a breach of these Terms by you, missing venue permissions, or damage caused by your guests to our property or to third parties.

14. Force Majeure

Neither you nor we are liable for failing to perform, or for delay, caused by events beyond reasonable control. These include floods, extreme weather and other natural disasters, fire, epidemics, government orders or lockdowns, curfews, bandhs or strikes, riots, war or terrorism, and major failures of power or transport.

If such an event prevents your booking from going ahead, we will first offer to move it to a new date. If a new date is not possible, we will refund what you have paid, after deducting costs we have already incurred for your event, and share the details of those costs with you.

15. Privacy and Photographs

We handle your personal data as described in our Privacy Policy, in line with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

We may photograph our food and set-up at your event to show our work, as described in Section 8 of our Privacy Policy. We do not publish photos in which guests can be clearly identified without their consent. Tell us when you book if you do not want any photos taken.

16. Governing Law, Disputes and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, including the Indian Contract Act, 1872 and the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.

If a dispute arises, we will both first try to resolve it through discussion, within 30 days of either of us raising it in writing.

Subject to your right to approach a Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, the competent courts having jurisdiction over Secunderabad, Telangana will have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from these Terms or a booking.

17. Changes to These Terms and General Provisions

Changes. We may update these Terms from time to time and will post the updated version on this page with a new "Last updated" date. A booking is governed by the Terms in force when it was confirmed.

Entire agreement. For each booking, these Terms, your quotation and your order confirmation together form the whole agreement between you and us.

Severability. If any part of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the rest remains in force.

No waiver. If we do not enforce a right at any time, we may still enforce it later.

Service partners. We may engage trusted partners, such as additional service staff, for your event, but we remain responsible for our services to you.

Communication. We may send notices about your booking by WhatsApp, SMS, phone or post, using the contact details you gave us.
